Apparently the name of this business derives from the fact that the owner had had enough of those unhealthy, unappetizing fast food hamburgers of which we are all too familiar. So, E'nuf Burger Bar was born.
I ventured in to E'nuf burger bar on Anzac highway to sample what they had to offer. The cool, clean, funky interior has plenty of room to dine in, or you can take away. They use the freshest quality ingredients, with a range of gourmet beef, chicken, lamb, fish or vegetarian burgers on offer. There are breakfast options, fresh salads and a range of milkshakes to choose from.
I must confess this was my third trip to the burger bar. Having already tried the delicious Hawaiian and the "Char Chix" burgers, I ventured in to try the "eNuf" beef patty burger. I opted for the "combo deal" which at $15.90 for the burger, small fries and drink, was good value. The staff are friendly, but occasionally during peak periods you may have to wait a little because the burgers are handmade fresh on the premises.
The food arrived well presented on a timber chopping board. The burger had a tasty beef patty, tasty enough to eat minus any sauce, and was well complemented by the soft caramelized onion. The relish was delicious, and the crisp lettuce was covered in homemade mayo which combined to produce a great burger worth coming back for. The generous serving of small fries were just as I like; soft on the inside, crunchy and golden brown on the outside. Another thing I like about this place is that you can choose your own bun; from sesame white to wholemeal, white damper or gluten free.
E'nuf burger bar are also on Jetty rd at Brighton, so treat yourself to a little healthy indulgence and enjoy a hand-made burger like no other. I myself can't wait to try the Cajun and Tandoori burgers.
You have to try the Gerhard - it is the best! And I love that you acknowledged that it is NOT fast food because they are all made fresh to order...people expect McDonalds drive through time frames... they also support sustainable and local produce which I really respect - including Spring Valley products! Love this place.
