The Entrance Waterfront at the Central Coast makes way for family entertainment and naturally during the school holidays and during the Christmas/New Year period, this place can get packed out.

A purpose built playground with a diverse choice of restaurants, take away shops and ice cream parlours, where there is a decent wait in the summer holiday period, but this area does make the way for a quality and indulgent day out. A perfect location for a fish and chips for lunch, but just watch out for the seagulls. This playground also sells corn on the cob, no different to the Rocks in Sydney.

The Entrance as an area, and the waterfront in particular is known for its diverse array of pelicans, and at one set time daily, the pelicans feeding display is on show.

Great walkways and a great beach to just cool down in but not the right beach to be swimming or surfing in, as the tides are generally non-existent.

The children's play area is the main attraction of the playground, with simple swings and slippery dips to a water play area.

The area will definitely grow and attract a lot more local, intrastate, interstate and overseas visitors once the train line from Tuggerah to The Entrance is completed.
