Well-behaved women seldom make history
For so many years, women have been overlooked, pushed aside and ignored. And yet, incredible women have continued to work, and fight for their place in history. Without women, we wouldn't have a lot of different inventions and leaps forward in science and all sorts of other walks of life. Perth has seen a lot of wonderful women change history, and improve our lives. This walking tour highlights some of the best women who have walked our streets.

This self-guided walking tour takes you through the Perth streets, telling you the stories of seven incredible women. Using your phone, and an app, the Dark Stry company tell you about these famous, and infamous women. The tour involves an audio guide, photos, transcripts, and even interactive content. You walk around Elizabeth Quay, as well as surrounding streets, and each stop is paired with a bar or restaurant. Make sure to bring water or stay hydrated while you walk. This is why the tour is paired with restaurants and bars, that way you don't find yourself thirsty or starving with nowhere nearby to help you out.

You can take your time, thanks to the fact that you are on a self-guided tour. Don't rush this, just enjoy your day out. Please make sure that you bring headphones and don't play the tour on a speaker. Although the tour is very interesting, not everyone wants to hear it. Other people deserve to enjoy the silence if that is what they want.

Although you can go at any time of the day or night, it would be best to make sure not to be walking through the streets at night. Especially while wearing headphones. The best time to go on this tour is between Thursday and Sunday, in the late morning or afternoon. That is when the restaurants will be open. This interactive walking tour is $15 to download onto your phone, but you can take your time and access it whenever you like.
