Watch this popular short film competition under the stars
Lights! Canberra! Action! is back for another year, held at the Senate Rose Gardens on Friday, 8th March between 7pm - 11pm. It is held as part of the Enlighten Festival.

According to the Enlighten Festival website: "Filmmakers are given a list of ten items to include in their movie, with only ten days to shoot, edit and produce a seven-minute film exploring the theme of 'a small step'. This year's theme has been chosen to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, which the Honeysuckle Creek Tracking Station, just south of Canberra, helped televise to the world."

This event at the Senate Rose Gardens will show the top 12 finalists, with the awards winners announced immediately after the screening.

Take a picnic or buy dinner from the food trucks for the event. Also don't forget a comfy beanbag, cushion or blanket to lie out on, to watch the films. See the Enlighten Festival website for details.
