Let there be light
In 2015, Enlighten is on from February 27 until March 7. There are loads of free events all around the Parliamentary Circle including Questacon - which this year features laser tag!

Many of the events are completely free, and the best of all is the series of light sculptures projected onto famous buildings. Hundreds of people gather to walk from one to another.

Each year there is more to see. Last year there were mysterious creatures swimming in the fountains, giant dinosaur puppets, delicious food stalls, and flame-pots lining walkways.

All of Canberra lights up for the festival, and it's well worth exploring the hundreds of activities available. Even the lions at the National Zoo and Aquarium get involved. . . after the sun goes down.
