Everyone's favourite 'feel good' festival, Enlighten Adelaide, returns to Adelaide Convention Centre on the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April 2016.Established in 2011 by Sue Shaw, Festival Director and owner of Shara Sanctuary & Retreat , Centre for Health & Wellbeing, this annual event has grown to become one of SA's most respected, professional and quality festivals. This year, festival-goers can expect the largest showcase yet, with over 90 local exhibitors offering advice, knowledge and healthy life-style options in an open and friendly atmosphere. All are welcome to come along and discover South Australia's best products; stallholders will be offering Himalayan salt lamps, crystals, essential oils, aromatherapy candles, hand-made gemstone jewellery, giftware, natural skin care, personalised mandalas, aura photography, animal healing and much more! You can also learn about complementary health therapies, nutrition, exercise, meditation and other well-being techniques.Plus in keeping with the unique tradition of providing a peaceful and sacred space, festival-goers can also enjoy the exclusive and private Day Spa Room and have a nurturing massage, reiki or other treatment.
You can also sample locally produced raw food treats and other goodies at the Pop Up Cafe.Treat yourself to a weekend escape in the city and receive special rates at selected city hotels for the weekend of the festival - and sleep in on Monday as it's a public holiday ( see website for more details). All festival-goers receive a free Enlighten Adelaide Directory, listing contact details of all exhibitors and a Program of Events detailing the free workshops and meditation sessions available throughout the weekend.
