Want to join an exclusive club that consists of Kate Middleton, Julia Roberts, Kate Moss, Ryan Gosling and learn a new skill that helps keep you warm through winter?
Then come along and celebrate WORLD WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY on 18 June 2016. Encouraging better living through knitting and stitching together, this unique event known as WWKIP Day, is the largest knitter run event in the world. There are different events held worldwide. In NSW, each local event is put together by a group of volunteers in different areas across the state with fun events including knitting. All levels from newbies to seasoned knitters are welcome to join in.
For Sydneysiders living around Northern Sydney and the Beaches, come join the Pittwater KG Pic Knit at the First Fleet Park outside the MCA, Sydney CBD. Starting from Mona Vale, travel by bus to Manly, knitting. Then travel on by ferry, knitting from Manly to Circular Quay, and then settle in the park for the Pic Knit to enjoy knitting, crocheting and a picnic together. There will be local food available for the picnic or, BYO.
