Engine No. 9 - NSW Party Brigade

[ADVERT]I was at a children's Christmas Party on the weekend, when the song Fireman Sam came blaring up the street. Up pulled an open topped fire engine and the look on the little kids faces was priceless!

Having never been on an open air bus, I was quite excited to give it a whirl myself. Aided by the helpful fireman, ascending and descending was quite easy.

The leather bank seats were clean and comfy and the disco lighting made me suspect they have a solid party business at night for hens and bucks (as indeed they do).

The kids were besides themselves as we drove round the neighbourhood, though the littlest ones just watched an episode of Fireman Sam on the TV (which is actually a video jukebox for those night-time parties). There was even vanilla 'smoke', which added to the excitement.

While at our party, it was just there for rides, if you are considering it for your child's birthday party, it's good to know they have a party host fire man clown, Fire Man Dan, who gives a 30 minute interactive fun show as well as face painting, balloon sculptures and games.

So if you have a little fireman obsessed with fire engines, this could be the perfect party entertainment for you!
