Taking a Lush Green leaf from the book of Pantone, enex has announced its first 'Colour Takeover' and have quite literally gone green.

So, for those like me who aren't exactly fashion-forward and don't know the ins-and-outs of the industry, I've recently learned that the Pantone Color Institute is "the world-renowned authority on color and provider of color systems and leading technology for the selection and accurate communication of color across a variety of industries" (according to their website ).

Basically, Pantone seem to be the colour police who standardise and release (per se) collections of number-coded colours. The Autumn 2016 Collection happened to include Lush Green 18-5845 which accordingly to Pantone, brings to mind fresh botanicals and foliage. Boy did enex take that and run with it!

Anywhere you look on any of the three levels of enex there is a new plant, painting or Lush-Meadow-coloured feature. The most impressive spectacle of which is the botanical installation boasting "over 50 Devil's Ivy Tendrils and 8 large Monstera leaf columns in perfect symmetry" suspended from the roof above the Level 2 Hay Street level. It's such a fascinating, iconic piece of artwork that livens up the whole complex.

Retailers have also gone all out with green foods, green furniture, green clothes, you name it! 'On The Green' is a feature set up on the Hay Street Level (Level 2) in the centre of the arcade with plenty of comfy couches to relax, grab a bite to eat and soak up the free entertainment. Today's pop-up vendors included Audiofly who design specialty headphones and had their very own DJ entertaining the lunch crowd, Cilambinos coffee experts from Cottesloe, Top Dup artisan donut masters and Boy Made Good who concoct specialty real-fruit sodas.

Shopaholics will be pleased to know that there is also a competition running where, if you spend $100 or more, you could have a chance to win a $2,000 shopping spree with an "enex personal stylist". Details are available on the enex website .

The featured retailers On The Green will vary as they each rotate for a limited amount of time, so I'm pretty excited to see what else enex produce over the comings weeks. It looks like they have something for the whole family!
