Event:
Half price second-hand and vintage clothing

On Saturday 29 June, the Brotherhood's Community Store network is having its annual 50% off clothing sale. For one day only, a huge collection of women, men and children's second-hand and vintage clothing is half price.

Since the Brotherhood opened its first community store some 50 years ago, the vision has always been the same: to create an Australia free of poverty. When you buy second-hand clothing, furniture, books and more, you're not just recycling, or finding a bargain, you're raising funds for disadvantaged Australians.

The Brotherhood network has expanded to include 22 stores. Adding to this growth is the opening of our new Hunter Gatherer store in Geelong West.

For more than a decade our Hunter Gatherer stores have been icons in the recycled fashion scene. Not just a fashion-forward boutique, Hunter Gatherer is a destination for all things vintage. An eclectic mix of bric-a-brac, local artisan creations, books, records, fashion and accessories, Hunter Gatherer pays homage to pop culture past and present.

Sam Willersdorf, the manager of Fitzroy Hunter Gatherer says sale day always brings an exciting and busy atmosphere. "It's a vibrant energetic feel on sale day. People come up to the counter with arms full of things to buy. Coats and winter woollies are often the most popular items."

Visit brotherhoodstores.com to find your nearest Brotherhood Community Store, come in and meet our friendly staff and volunteers, and pick up a bargain from our unique range of discounted clothing.
