The Enchanted Forest, Blackbutt Forest Reserve Shellharbour
Let the forest enchant you

A captivating fairytale-like journey is something we all need from time to time and Shellharbour's Blackbutt Forest is putting on just that with this unforgettable event they're calling The Enchanted Forest.

You'll explore vibrant installations, dazzling laser effects, interactive projections and magical holograms with lush soundscapes and multiple digital art experiences that come alive as you wander through this reserve 2.5hrs south of Sydney.

It's a great escape from the city for a spectacular show of light and sound that sees you following the gorgeous walking trail through a mystical realm of ancient towering trees, magical creatures and enchanting wonders.

Fluorescent, colour-shifting flowers illuminate a path and a canopy overhead glows pink and teal as you immerse yourself in the forest environment. Meanwhile, a stag materialises among the trees and, as he stomps his heels, lights spark nearby.

A world of colour and sound awaits

The breathtaking show has been developed especially for Shellharbour, taking into consideration the unique elements of the forest reserve. It's the work of Laservision, the company responsible for Hong Kong's 'Symphony of Lights', Dubai Festival City's 'Imagine' and Singapore's 'Wonder Full' at Marina Bay Sands.

The Enchanted Forest installations and special effects are the latest in a series of Luna Light journeys the company has designed with many hours spent on delivering a multisensory experience that transports the audience into an alternative space where the impossible appears right before your eyes. Each activation and interactive display invites you from one moment to the next, following an original folktale of a mystical stag who awakens magical elements in the woods.
