I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
Star Wars fans have somewhere to share their passion at the Empire Coffee Co. The business has recently moved to premises in the Honeysuckle area from Crown Street opposite the Tower Cinemas.

Plenty to look at here
The menu has a variety of reasonably priced usual cafe fare. They also put together breakfast & lunch boxes and do meal deals such as a mushroom & feta quiche with salad for $10 or soup & sourdough for $8. They have an everyday Darth deal of a medium takeaway coffee and muffin for $6 and on Wookie Wednesdays takeaway 'talls' are 50% off. Tea-3PO, Hoth Chocolate Freakshakes and R2Decaff are also available.

The website is very basic, so check out their Facebook page for news of specials and events. Occasional Trivia nights with themes of Star Trek and Star Wars are held. Great prizes are on offer and for $25 there are table snacks, a soft drink, fun and the chance to win a lucky door prize. Sandwiches, salads and toaties are available to purchase on the night. The last trivia night was 6.30pm on 23 June and they have plans to have
An Orange Is The New Black theme for the next one.

Not just Star Wars
At times you may find yourself dining with costumed patrons and the staff run Star Wars themed craft sessions for children in the school holidays. The young staff dressed in the uniform of the Imperial Forces are friendly whilst taking and delivering the dining orders.
