The Emerge Festival Main Event will be held at the Fitzroy Town Hall on June 16 from 12-5pm and is Free.

Amongst the huge number of events, you can expect Ethiopian jazz, Somali pop, the Heartlands Refugee Art prize, and an artisans marketplace.

This extensive festival provides the ideal opportunity for people of all opportunities to share and collaborate, in a cultural and enjoyable setting.

The festival is sponsored by the City of Yarra, Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship, City of Melbourne, Australia Council for the Arts, Arts Victoria, VicHealth, Parks Victoria, AMES, City of Greater Dandenong, Maribyrnong City Council, and the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
