The is one of my favourites in the area as it is set in a European style town, also called the 'French quarter', but in my opinion it looks rather Italian.

The market is on every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm, it is even on in the pouring rain.

The stalls range from fresh produce and take away to crafts - but to be honest, most of the 'crafts' are cheap imports from Asia. The food on the other hand is incredible. Three weeks ago I tasted the most incredible onion jam and there is a stall that sells homemade tofu, which is also delicious. Almost every food stall has lots of samples.

Thursday is my favourite day of the week because I greatly enjoy strolling around, sampling and buying the freshest and cheapest veggies.

There is a stall selling fish, a butcher who has incredible chicken sausages (and trust me I normally hate them, but the samples convinced me) and countless take away stalls selling crepes, pad thai, spring rolls, cake, and so much more.

I can only recommend going there to buy fruit and veggies, it is just so much fresher and cheaper than in the supermarkets!
