The Embroiderers' Guild, Queensland Inc is continuing their popular series of casual workshops entitled 'Start Stitching' this Spring.
This unique series of interactive workshops are designed for anyone who wants to learn how to embroider or improve their stitching techniques.
It runs monthly on Saturday afternoons from 1pm to 4 pm (be there at 12.30 pm to sign in) and is held in a social and relaxed atmosphere in The EGQ Guild Rooms.
Each workshop will focus on a new, easy to make craft project.
On Saturday, 7th September, students will create 'Springtime Hoop Art', a pretty embroidery of spring flowers, stylishly set in a hoop – a picture for your wall!
On Saturday, 12th October, students will create 'Frosty's Christmas', a joyful colourful bag for Christmas goodies.
The workshop will be facilitated by members of The Embroiderers' Guild, Queensland Inc, who will be happy to assist and guide you. They can also offer some handy tips and tricks so you can continue to develop your stitching skills at home.
All craft projects are suitable for all skill levels and are usually completed - or nearly so - during a class session.
The workshops are priced $30pp and include all required materials plus afternoon tea.
Registrations are now open. To register, complete the class enrolment form and forward it NO LATER than 1 week before the class date.
