The bayside suburb of Elwood has a very strong community spirit with lots of families and also young singles and couples making up its demographic. The Elwood Community Market is an important event for the Elwood Primary School in raising much-needed funds to support the continuing development and running of this school. Parents and locals provide great support for the school and market but many visitors come to this market from near and far.



Each year there are eight community markets in the school grounds, offering a great selection of trash and treasure, plants, clothes, jewellery, pastries fruit & veg and other eclectic and unique surprises. A jumping castle, animal farm, ice-cream van and an ever-growing variety of fun and games keep the children amused, while the BBQ, sausage sizzle, barista coffee and a selection of treats in the school hall offer a great start to the weekend for any age.

The first market for 2020 will take place on Saturday 1st February from 9 am to 1 pm. If you are interested in becoming a stallholder, please check pricing and information here .
