The Entertanners present 'Elvis If I Can Dream' starring Mark Anthony in his tribute to Elvis. Internationally recognised, Mark Anthony has been regarded as the very best Elvis Presley tribute artist in the world, and this shows in his performance. Having seen three different Elvis impersonators in the last year, it is easy to see why fans love him.

Mark Anthony is well loved by Adelaide fans, not only because his show highlights the very best of Elvis's career, but because Anthony was born and bred in Adelaide, South Australia. Having grown up loving Elvis's music, he was immersed by his family into a life where everything was Presley influenced. His Sunday afternoons were spent watching Elvis movies on the television. In 2004 Anthony decided to pursue a professional tribute to Elvis.

He has taken in every aspect from the voice to the walk and the moves to create Elvis reincarnated. He takes the time to thank Elvis for the music because if it wasn't for him then his show wouldn't be possible.

The show moves through the years from the 50's, 60's and the 70's showing highlights of Presley's career on the backdrop behind the band. This included stage shots, movie premieres and anecdotes from radio broadcasts over the years. The show featured backing singers, a band and a talented group of background dancers put together by Anthony's friend Nicole and one routine even featured a hula dance starring his very own daughter.

The show Elvis: If I Can Dream also draws from the compilation album by Presley and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The show featured all the best off this album including "Burning Love", "It's Now or Never", "Love Me Tender", "Fever", "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin", "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "If I Can Dream". He also played fan favorites including "Hound Dog", "Suspicious Minds", "Are You Lonesome Tonight", "Thats All Right Mama", Blue Suede Shoes", "Jailhouse Rock" and "My Way".

As the show came to a close Elvis, fans from Baby-boomers to Generation Y stood up and applauded the time and effort that went into such an incredible performance. One Baby-boomer stated having seen Elvis tributes her whole life, nothing could top the performance she saw tonight. That is huge compliment and one that is definitely agreed with. Mark Anthony has obtained the title as best Elvis impersonator in the world for that reason and held it again after tonight.
