Renown as one of the best genuine farmers' market in Victoria, the local food from the Eltham Farmers Market being sold has all been grown of made by the stallholder selling it. Many of them come from Nillumbik and adjoining municipalities. Hosted by Bellview Farm, the Market is run every Sunday from 8am to 12pm from now until Sunday 24 October 2021. Enjoy knowing your food is coming from farm to plate, fresh and regularly. Support our lovely farmers who put the food on our plate. Head to the Market at Eltham Town Mall Car Park, 10-18 Arthur Street, Eltham to buy the produce and have a chat to the farmers.
Though not running during the crisis, do note that on the 4th Sunday of each month, there's a Food Swap from 9.30am to 10.30am. On selected Sundays, there's also aCommunity Market Stall. There are a full range of stalls, from veggies and fruit to condiments and sweet treats. All thestallholders are from within Victoria, with around half from within North East Melbourne. The benefits of shopping at farmers' markets mean you're supporting local and independent farmers and they're sustainable. You get to meet the people growing your food and cut out the middleman.
