is a relaxing spot in the centre of McLaren Vale. It is the perfect place to just sit, relax, and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.

You won't find many facilities at : there is no barbeque, no toilets, and no playground for the kids. Ellis park features two gazebos, each with chairs to sit on. There are also other benches around the park for just sitting back and enjoying the tranquility.

If you're in the region you can visit some of the great McLaren Vale wineries, or head to the Willunga Markets on the weekend. Once you've filled your bags with delicious fresh produce, you can head back to to set up a picnic on the green grass. Unlike some parks where the grass is worn and more closely resembles mud, has a lush lawn that you will enjoy sitting on. Even if it has been raining, you can enjoy the large square benches that will easily accommodate a picnic blanket and a whole family.

There is still a large amount of open lawn at . Kids will be able to run around and expel some energy after lunch. You could also bring along some kites and fly them in the open air.

is a very peaceful area. It is well maintained so that everything is neat. You can find it on McLaren Vale's Main Road, and it is close to many McLaren Vale businesses and shops. It is a great spot for those who want to avoid the crowds that some other parks can attract.

If you want to find some other parks in the area, then check out the Onkaparinga City Council Website .
