Fringe's over, what now?
The Ellington always has entertainment for all tastes, seven nights a week! Here's a short selection of four upcoming shows you can see next month at one of Perth's best live music venues where the food and drinks are as delicious as the music!
International Women's Day with WHORUNTHEWORLD Wednesday 8 March, 7pm
A nine-piece all-female line-up of local musicians (Katherine Curnow – Lead vocals; Mia Matthiessen – Backing vocals; Andrea Onamade – Backing vocals; Shanelle Schramm – Keys; Ellenor Pereira – Bass; Talya Valenti – Drums; Alana Macpherson – Sax; Catherine Noblet – Trombone; Breanna Evangelista – Trumpet) are prepped to channel and celebrated strong empowered female artists like Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, and Solange. On the night, they will be raising funds for projects and initiatives run by the UN Women National Committe.
Saturday 11 March, 10:30pm Temptation and titillation abound in this late night show hosted by West Coast Cabaret Australia. As part of the show, audiences will be treated to burlesque, boylesque, drag, magic, and more! This show will help sate your appetite for burlesque and cabaret.
Princess Party - White Ribbon Organisation Benefit Wednesday 29 March, 7:30pm
Charming magical princesses will bring you an enchanted evening you will never forget. Disney songs, magic, and glitter galore! So, dust off your ball gowns, pinch your cheeks, and polish your glass slippers! All proceeds from this show will be donated to the White Ribbon Organisation which fights violence against women.
Neapolitan - Throw Back 90s Friday 31 March, 10.30pm
This dance party celebrates the hits of the 90s/2000s performed by an eight-piece band! If you ever rocked to Destiny's Child, Hanson, TLC, Usher, Ginuwine, Sir Mixalot, and S Club 7, you will not be disappointed by the mash-ups and medleys offered on this late night event.
