Ellenbrook Water Park

You'll find Rainbow Waters in Ellenbrook on Library Avenue and this summer, it'll be a favourite spot to cool down.

There are lots of sprinklers - some arches to walk through and some shaped like flowers - plus water cannons to squirt your friends.

Just remember the sunscreen, because although there are shade sails and some shady shelters, on a busy day, you very well could be stuck out in the sun.

Unfortunately the day we went to Rainbow Waters, although it was a beautiful, sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, it probably wasn't quite warm enough though because the kids were a little reluctant to get really wet. And after testing the water myself (eek), I could understand why. It was a bit on the chilly side.

But it was still a nice relaxing place to hang out and the littlies enjoyed running around on the grass.

Features of Rainbow Waters include the automated toilets (you know, the ones that play music), BBQ facilities and plenty of parking. Take a picnic or some snags!

The water features operate between 9am and 7pm until May 5 2013. It's totally free fun!
