Elk Espresso is definitely my favourite spot in Broadbeach. Only about 250 metres from the beach, it is perfect for a quick coffee, between sun-bathing and whale watching!



The atmosphere is very laid back and reminds me of the boutique coffee shops in Melbourne. It is the perfect place to come just for reading a book, or for meeting friends over coffee or lunch.



I normally just have a cappuccino (because I am a student and can't afford to eat out, but I have seen how incredibly delicious the food looks when they carry the plates past my table (I know what I'll be doing as soon as I have $25.00 left at the end of the week).

If you want to have lunch there, come early, as it gets very full, very quickly.

The coffee they serve is excellent - simply from the taste, you can tell that they know their beans well.


Table service is offered and the staff are very friendly. I love the open space and the décor - it just immediately makes me feel relaxed.
