Don't you hate it when you feel like having a little bit of shisha, hookah, or argileh if you prefer to call it that – perhaps even hubbly bubbly if you're slightly Americanised; but you can't? Isn't it even worse when the reason that you can't have a tantalising taste of your favourite flavour is because of your geographical location? Everyone knows that if you want argileh, you need to go out west. However, if you're from the east like me – this is no longer the case! You have no idea how much this new revelation excites me.
Elissar Lebanese Restaurant in Pagewood is a lovely establishment with delicious food, fantastic service and best of all – shisha in the east. There are many options for picky eaters like myself, including the gigantic vegetarian option that I've depicted. The carnivores will enjoy the deliciously juicy traditional meat dishes. Every dish that I have tried at Elissar tastes beautiful, has flair and is prepared wonderfully. The servings are also extremely generous, so be careful not to over-order like I always do.
The venue itself is highly aesthetically pleasing both inside and outside. There is parking outside of the restaurant itself and if you opt to sit inside, you will appreciate the pretty décor. Outside, there is a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of room for everyone.
My favourite thing about Elissar apart from the argileh is actually the service. Elissar management should be proud for having made such fantastic hiring decisions. I loved every moment at Elissar. The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and thankful.
I definitely recommend choosing Elissar the next time you feel like going to have some dinner and argileh with your friends. If you're from the east, it's also a lot closer, which makes it a complete winner.
