Ellenbrook is a relatively new suburb, the first houses being built in 1994, only twenty years ago. Ellenbrook and its neighbouring suburbs of The Vines and Aveley are an unusually long way from other suburbs.

The town was planned to be self-contained and as a result a convincing air of community has developed in a remarkably short time.

Last year the community put together their first Christmas Pageant as part of the coyly named 'Elfenbrook' the town's Christmas celebration, which was hugely successful and 2014's promises to be even bigger.



At 4:00pm on Saturday 6th December the Pageant will start from the Performing Arts Centre on Main Street and some twenty groups will wend their way down to the Town Central Park.



Following the parade there will be a free concert in the park featuring popular party band Peace, Love & All That Stuff and front man Tod Johnson.

Other events planned are the Arts and Produce Market the next day, the 7th, also at the Town Park; Carols by Candlelight on Saturday the 13th and the Christmas Pantomime, Puss In Boots .
