Adelaide Repertory Theatre Company presents 'The Elephant Man' based on the real life story of John Merrick. Written by Bernard Pomerance and Directed by Megan Dansie it will run at The Arts Theatre from April 14th until April 23rd.

Set in the 1980's in London, it is the story of a friendly man, who is treated badly because of the way he looks. The disfigured man is used in his freak show to make money, until he is saved by a surgeon. The surgeon treats him like the human being that he really is.

Starring Robert Bell, Steve Marvanek, Georgia Stockham, Jamie Wright, Jon Scholten, Nicole Rutty, Patrick Marlin, Philip Lineton, Sharon Malujlo, Thorin Cupit, Tony Busch
