Entering the beach via a narrow path of sand between two rocks, it feels like you're entering some secluded paradise and is something you certainly wouldn't expect to find in our backyard.

is named for the elephant shaped rocks it houses. From ground level the elephant shapes are indistinguishable but apparently from birds-eye view it is a whole other story.

It is a small beach with a lovely vibe about it characterised by cool, shallows waters. It's calm nature is due to it being protected from the Great Southern Ocean by the rocks that surround it.

I think what makes so popular, though, is that you can jump off the rocks into the water. For the most part the water at the cove is shallow, though one of the rocks sits in slightly deeper water and this creates the perfect place for dare-devil children and adults to experience a thrill.

Overall, is a lovely beach within walking distance of Greens Pool.
