I've visited
at the Barossa Farmers Market a couple of times already. Each Saturday morning visit has been a delight. I only wish I lived closer. All the products are fresh and simply delicious.
My favourites would have to be the blueberry & custard danish, croissants and fruit tarts which are almost too pretty to eat. I particularly loved the fluffiness of the croissants as well as the buttery crust of this beautifully laminated danish. When in season, you'll also find fig, prosciutto & blue cheese danishes. All these ingredients complemented one another perfectly and the danish was to die for.
The Barossa Farmers Market can be found at the corner of Angaston Road and Stockwell Road in Angaston. attends the market nearly every week, but I'd recommend checking the
website first before heading out.
