Shop, Eat, Then Shop Some More
Tucked down the road to Kondalilla Falls (off the Mapleton- Montville Road) lies a little building filled with temptations... clothes, jewelery, china and glass, art... and award winning food.
Look for the triangular building at the turnoff to Kondalilla Falls Rd.
Look for this turnoff.
Here it is.
Run by Sarah and her friendly staff, Elements is a must do if you are visiting Blackall Range. The food is scrumptious and the valley views spectacular. It is pretty little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping strips.
I went there with friends for breakfast and was impressed with the menu. One of us ordered Canadian Pancakes which she did go on about at length, the rest of us ordered spinach and haloumi on sourdough. Most satisfactory. I was greatly tempted by the Banana and Fig Bread and the Breakfast Trifle. I guess I'll just have to go back.
Look at that view.
While waiting for our meal (It came too quickly for my liking!) and afterwards we wandered about oohing and aahing. Just the place to go if you are looking for an interesting but reasonably priced gift for someone special. Or you may find a lovely gift for yourself, as I did. I bought a gorgeous cotton kimono style robe which was on sale.
I bought this in white with blue. Image from Elements website..
