Pippa is a stay-at-home Mum to 3 small children. She is always looking for something new and exciting to do to keep everyone happy and occupied.

Einbunpin Festival is on again in Sandgate on Sunday 29th of July. This is a truly local festival with schools, kindys and other local not-for-profits selling their wares. You can get a bit of everything from Cheerios in a cup from the Sandgate Kindergarten to a cake from Sacred Heart Schools famous cake stall or handmade craft from the annual Shorncliffe State Schools craft stall.

Set around the beautiful Einbunpin Lagoon in the centre of Sandgate, this festival has something for everyone including live entertainment on two stages from local artists, schools and groups. There are also many unique activities for the young or young at heart that include decorating carpet squares, calling the Bunyip of the Lagoon and a boat on land race. There will be craft for the kids and circus activities to try.

If you have had enough of the festival, take some time to wander down one of the avenues and sit by or walk along the waterfront.

More details for the festival, including the program, can be found here.
