The Eiffel Tower is such an iconic image - and almost any way you look at it, it's beautiful and inspiring. I was here just on dusk in winter and the spotlights on the ground, which display the tower in such beauty, were lighting up the columns set against the deep blue evening sky. Everyone is in such a rush to get up the tower, and it's worth every moment of that (usually) long wait, but do take the time to look up and through the magnificent iron structure of Gustav Eiffel and enjoy its inner workings and angles.
