Family Fun Filled Day & Fireworks at Eid Down Under Festival
Cultural diversity has become second nature in our workplaces, social gatherings, shopping malls, etc. and a country where all can call Australia home. To live together, to be neighbours and work colleagues, we need to appreciate other ways of life as we, definitely want others to appreciate ours.

On Saturday 8th June 2018, the Islamic Council of Queensland is hosting Eid Down Under Festival at 45 Acacia Road, Karawatha. This festival is the largest celebration of Eid al Fitr in Queensland with over 30,000 guests attending in previous years.

Everyone of every faith is welcome to attend a fun-filled day from 10.00am until 9.00pm, where a variety of kid's activities, including rides and stage shows will bring delight to each face. There will also be food and retail stalls, cultural presentations and topping off the night, a fireworks show.

Eid Down Under is held to promote social cohesion, acceptance and understanding while bringing benefits to all in the community. It is a change for Muslims and non-Muslims to celebrate the end of Ramadan while connecting with family and friends.

Entry is a gold coin.
