Edible Natives and Native Gardening at Homeis a City of Marion Common Thread program event being held at Cooinda Neighbourhood Centre on Monday, 6 May 2019, from 7pm until 8.30pm.

Common Thread's monthly program events are free - with a focus on sustainability, Common Thread will inspire, connect and educate program participants.

Edible Natives will be facilitated by Sam Ryan of the Natural Resources Management Education Team, who will introduce program participants to a range of local edible native plants which can be grown at home and provide information on how to grow and eat them.

Native Gardening at Home will be facilitated by Monina Gilby, an experienced garden designer specialising in native garden design and biodiversity gardens. Monina will introduce program participants to various aspects of native garden design and biodiversity, including the creation and maintenance of native habitats.

Bookings are essential via Eventbrite (at time of publication - there were still 9 places available). Visit City of Marion's Common Thread page to keep up-to-date with future Common Thread monthly program events.
