British comedy director, writer and producer Edgar Wright is holding a Q&A session at the Astor Theatre after the hilarious and gory film Shaun of the Dead is played at 7pm, July 15. This is the only session that he will be holding in Australia, so don't miss out.

Edgar Wright is most famous for his collaborations with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in their Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy, composed of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and the up and coming World's End. However, he is also known for directing Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, which abandons the Frost and Pegg duo, but still maintains the Edgar Wright style of nerdy references that only a handful of people will recognise, and only another handful will admit to recognising. Not only does he refer to all things gaming and sci-fi, but his Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy seem to pay tribute to action film genres. In particular, Shaun of the Dead is like a celebration of zombie horror films, with a hint of irony and parody.

This event is not one to be missed for films buffs, zombie fans, or just anyone that loves a laugh and has the stomach for gore made funny. Edgar Wright will be there to answer all your questions after the screening, so don't miss this opportunity to meet one of the most hilarious directors of our time.
