Tranquil haven
Located at North Ryde, Eden Gardens is no ordinary nursery. I took over 30 photos on Saturday at the centre which is clean and well set out. With themed gardens including a Garden Gurus floating garden and Daffodil garden, an aerial walkway, art gallery and sculptures throughout the centre, this place is a beautiful haven as well as a hotspot with all the things you would normally find in a nursery along with a busy café.
I lunched at the Dragonfly Café on a smoked trout salad and topped it off with a cool lemon sorbet and Toblerone gelato (to die for). The café even sells alcohol and my husband was happy to get a cold beer after a morning that got hotter as I dragged him around the gardens.

The retail shop has lots of plants and homewares for sale and has a convenient escalator and lift to the underground car park along with trolleys if your purchases exceed what you can carry.
The centre is also host to conferences, events, and weddings which are popular for ceremonies, photos and receptions with a sit down undercover but open restaurant.
A school holiday program is on at the moment with workshops and upcoming outdoor movies. For a full list see the What's On Calendar link on their website at
