Open Day at Edith Cowan University is a perfect opportunity to find out what life at uni is really like and get access to everything you ever wanted to know. Some of the great activities you might not want to miss are finding the not really, but really Famous Sharron who'll be roaming the campus with details of all exciting events and activities happening across the day. If you think you have 'it', test your skills against the computer with motion sensors and acceleromoters; and test your strength in the new Engineering Fundamentals Lab in building 2. If you're a thrill seeker, take to the sky with the RAC Rescue Experience using virtual reality technology in a 4 min, 360 degree experience that takes you on a mission on board one of the RAC Rescue helicopters. Perhaps you'd rather create and make your own spectacular parasol in the art studio, using inks, paints, stencils and pencils.

Information sessions give you a great insight into whether or not teaching is the career for you. Find out in building 5; a one-stop-shop for anyone interested in being an educator. Perhaps building 6's Medical and Health Sciences is more your niche, or Business and Law; a hands-on session with real examples on how to 'stack' your talents to position yourself for success. The first thing you need to know about Nursing and Midwifery is; how clean are your hands? Find out with the special UV Glitter Bug in building 2. If by now you are totally confused with so many choices, have a go at the popular mind reader and see if you can predict your future career in building 6.

The brochure is a good place to start for timings of information and all other sessions and events of the day, so as not to miss out being involved in the areas that interest you.
