Eco Xpo 2011

Home > Sydney > Exhibitions
Event: -
Make caring for the environment more than second nature by attending Sydney's inaugural Eco Xpo, held over three days from May 6 at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park. Over 200 exhibitors committed to sustainable, eco-friendly practices will be showcasing products and services that adhere to a greener way of life. A range of fields will be represented, including home and building, health and beauty, food and wine, energy, recycling, fashion, transport, and travel.

Products from Hemp Gallery, who will be exhibiting at Eco Xpo.

In addition to the exhibitor booths, the Xpo's main stage will play host to environmental films, cooking demonstrations, and talks on sustainability. Eco kids will be catered for with a 'Kid Zone' where they can enjoy art competitions, face painting, and a baby animal park. The Xpo will also be recognising Mother's Day by encouraging attendees to nominate their mothers for the 'Eco Mum Award'. The winner will be presented with an array of earth-friendly prizes.

A carbon neutral event, the Xpo will be planting one tree for every ticket purchased. If you're looking to go green but are unsure where to start, Eco Xpo will have the tools you need to plant seeds of change in your life.

Why? Because going green can be about more than just changing your light bulbs.
When: 10am - 4pm, Friday, 6 May 2011 to Sunday, 8 May 2011.
Where: Royal Hall of Industries, Driver Ave, Moore Park.
Cost: $8 or $6 if you donate pre-loved clothes to the St Vincent de Paul Society at the door.
This seems like a great way to get people interested in a concept that, though talked about a lot, is often ignored.
