Join like-minded people and take 'One Eco Step'; this year's theme of the Brisbane Eco Expo at Brisbane Showgrounds, 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills from Fri 14 to Sun 16 September 2018 from 10am to 4pm. At the event entry, you will receive a token. Simply place in one of three charities that best aligns with your eco and sustainability vision. Charities include: Sea Shepherd, Oxfam Australia, and the Australian Conservation Foundation.

Australia's largest sustainability expo, avoid queues and get your tickets online. You can also purchase tickets at the event door. When buying tickets for the VIP Progressive Picnic with MKR Winners Alex and Emily, inside the Eco Expo VIP Lounge, please note, it does not include your expo entry ticket, which must be purchased separately. You have the opportunity to win a VIP prize valued at over $900 at the event. All you have to do is tag some friends who would love to meet Alex and Emily and Khory Hancock-The Environmental Cowboy and share the post. The Commune Space Progressive Picnic is held daily from 12pm to 2.30pm in the Eco Expo VIP lounge, and has an asian inspired menu designed by Alex and Emily! Limited tickets available, so get your name on the A-List to experience the Eco Expo modern picnic lounge.

Picnic Inclusions as follows -
Three course menu of gourmet picnic platters, cooked by Alex and Emily, with fresh, local, organic produce from Australian Natural Food Co and Munch Crunch Organics
Menu served with 2 glasses of wine from Tamburlaine Organic Wines or Raw Vine Estate Organic Preservative Free Wine, or a sustainable beer from Stone & Wood Brewing
Mini SEMINAR on sustainable dining and waste, by Mallow Sustainability
Wine Tasting mini MASTERCLASS on the difference in Organic vegan wine, by Raw Vine Estate Organic Preservative Free Wine

Winners receive four 3-DAY passes to the Brisbane Eco Expo, two tickets to the Progressive Picnic, PLUS two VIP Eco Swag Bags (organic vegan wine included!). Winner Drawn 7th September, by random selection of comments, so get tagging and sharing.

The marketplace is a great place to start your eco journey as it'll be buzzing with Eco Exhibitors showcasing innovative products. A sweetener to encourage your 'one step', there'll be giveaways of native trees, Eco Pledges, Eco Swag Bags for the early birds, a Chemical-Free zone, Food and Wine Tastings, an Eco Brunch, plus lots of special guest speakers, sustainability masterclasses, demonstrations and seminars.

With Guest Speakers galore, be sure to download the PDF Schedule and plan your day for a great lineup of speakers from around Australia, in all areas of health and sustainability who will inspire and educate. From David Lange from Geovital Academy for a Seminar: Are Sources Of Radiation In Your Home Impacting Your Health? to Holley Somerville Knott from Tell Someone Who Cares for a Seminar For Kids & Adults: Inspiring Positive Change, there are inspiring speakers aplenty to choose from.

Of note, Holley is a passionate 15-year-old Environmentalist, CEO & Founder of a social enterprise and Charity Foundation, singer, Slam Poet, Public Speaker and social justice advocate, and has been since the age of 5. After starting a Charity at age 8 to use her voice for good, Holley has been singing, speaking and performing to thousands of people all over Australia at Festivals, Conferences, Gala events and schools.
