On a cold, rainy Sunday we went to seek shelter in a cute little shop in Nundah. Little did we know we were stepping into the most wonderful place to spend any Sunday (rain or shine) afternoon at.
Have you ever seen those gorgeous treats and pastries at a buffet or at a little patisserie only to end up deeply disappointed when the taste is nowhere as good as it looks? I have, countless times. Well at
Eclair Macaron this is definitely not the case. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING tastes amazing and is well worth it. The treats on offer are not over sweet, as is much the case when restaurants try to overcompensate with a heap of sugar on top of their treats. I've been to this place four times, and every time it is perfect. Looking into the glass cabinet, you can't help but want to try everything!
Not sure what to get? The owner is a lovely lady and will surely pick something for you that you'll love. A great way to sample a few different things is to indulge yourself with a cute little high tea (just let them know in advance).
Whether you're a dessert aficionado (like I am) or claim you don't "enjoy" desserts - eat something at Eclair Macaron and you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Great for a yummy morning tea with your partner or an afternoon sipping away at a delicious tea (there's heaps to choose from) as you chat with friends. Sometimes you just want to go somewhere to go that isn't a full-on meal, and isn't just ice cream - Eclair Macaron fulfils these desires!
This little place is Nundah Village's best-kept secret that I almost don't want to share it but I can't help but sing aloud with praises for this place (however off key). I want to spend every birthday here and I will. Join me for the best dessert experience Brissy has to offer!
