On Monday the 9th of May 2022, WEA Tours will be departing Adelaide for the River Murray port of Echuca and Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley. Tour leader Dr Denis Binnion will fill your nine days with fascinating history, life, culture and architecture.



You will not only visit heritage museums, art museums and botanical gardens but also enjoy lunch on a paddle steamer and admire various artwork on silos. One of my favourites would have to be the silo art at Sea Lake. You will also explore townships such as Numurkah, Benalla, Rochester, St Arnaud and Serviceton. I must say the wall murals at St Arnaud were rather impressive. And, I was somewhat intrigued by the story behind the Serviceton train station.
