We don't often venture into the laneways and side streets of Adelaide, many people stick to Rundle Mall or Rundle Street, sometimes heading down Gouger, Grote or Hindley. While many of these side streets may be dull and boring, Ebenezer Place is certainly not one of them.

For those in the know Ebenezer Place is one of Adelaide's trendiest streets, you can grab a beer, or sort through some new clothes. The people who run these businesses are really friendly, and at times the street can feel like a little community.

Treadly is where you head when you're looking for a new bike. They can help you out with just about anything bike related. Whether you're after a fixed gear, or just a regular bike these guys will either have it or know something about it. If you are into customising your bike, then you can buy parts here too. Think bright purple pedals, or a gold chain for your bike. Anything you can dream of, and Treadly can probably help you out. They also have a range of toddler bikes, bikes without pedals that are designed to help kids learn balance before they actually learn to ride a bike.

You Can Tell You've Found Treadly By the Bikes Outside

The Belgian Beer Cafe
The stylish Belgian Beer Cafe is a popular Adelaide spot where you can get a tasty meal, and a good beer to wash it down. Inspired by the great Belgian love of both beer and food. You can feast on traditional Belgian foods and pick from their huge range of beers. Perhaps you're looking for a sweeter beer with a strong fruit flavour, or the richer flavour of a stout. If you want to experiment with some new beers then this is the place to go.

Midwest Trader
To style yourself head to Midwest Trader where you can sort through a huge range of clothes and clothing accessories. These guys have got a lot of vintage gear and have a very eclectic mix in their store. For more on Midwest Trader read this review of them to find out just what you can get.

There are loads of other stores along Ebenezer Place, pick from the great fashions on the street, or find some of their quirkier bits and pieces. You can even go grab a coffee and watch the street go on by. You can sometimes get the feeling that Ebenezer Place only welcomes the cool kids, but don't listen to that feeling, the people who work here are all really friendly and they will treat everyone like they're cool. So wander down the street and who knows what you might find.
