Greetings friends! If you're the sort of a person who knows every single quote (like that one) from The Simpsons, then there is something you need to know. #whats_on ">The Newport Hotel is running a quiz for all Simpsons fans. The Eat My shorts Quiz night is going to be very exciting for anyone who is a fan of the four-fingered family from Springfield. Organise a group with your friends (and sexy Flanders) for a team of between two and ten people. Then lord it over your friends when you know all of the answers and sing "I am so smart, I am so smart. SMRT"

Entry is free but food and drinks cost extra. Their famous fishbowl drinks are incredible to share. Tony Pepperoni Pizza is a New York style delicious meal that you could order. Or you can get crispy cheeseburger spring rolls, which sound incredible. And of course, there will be plenty of beer on taps, wine and more to choose from. Because alcohol is the cause of and solution to all of life's problems!



You may need to brush up on your trivia knowledge when it comes to our favourite yellow family. You don't want to be a Ralph and forget everything you have ever known about them. The Simpsons first appeared on The Tracey Ullman Show in 1987 and was adapted for a half-hour format show in 1989. There have been 32 series so far and 706 episodes. That is a lot of cramming to do if you plan to study the whole thing. What's more is there are over 3600 characters that have appeared in the show throughout its history.

That doesn't even cover The Simpsons Movie, which might come up in the quiz. It's going to take more than just having some quotes and favourite characters to get you to win the night.

The quiz will take place on September 9th. Hosted by Bamboozled Quizmasters, head down at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start. Bookings are essential. There are a lot of Simpsons fans out there, so you have to get in quick to prove you are the number one fan. Rumour has it the El Barto might be there too.
