After reading the trendy publicity: ' is going to be a funky new coffee shop that will offer good food, great service with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Murray Bridge be READY!' I had to book in for opening day.

sports industrial décor with contrasting rough timber walls. Their modern signage pays homage to long-serving businesses of bygone eras that declare their establishment year. proudly states 'Established 2016' with similar longevity suggested.

Declaring their passion for invigorating Murray Bridge, uses Murray Bridge produce in their café and is a South Australian owned and operated business.

When we arrived for lunch most patrons were seated at one of the densely set tables and chairs inside. The mild winter weather beckoned us outside where the tables were pleasingly arranged further apart.

A hot chocolate came with three accompaniments: a sugar cube, a rough-edged piece of fudge and a water chaser. My Green Refresher of apple, ginger and mint arrived somewhat later.

Fortunately our lunch choices arrived together. They included the Hot Chic burger featuring crispy chicken and salad with garlic and chilli mayo on a bun and sauce on the side. The unusual serving 'shovel' and a speared gherkin on top of the bun were attention grabbers. A tasty pumpkin and feta pizza with pine nuts and red onion was my choice. It arrived on a wooden paddle with a dinner plate. The serve was large enough to provide the next day's lunch.

Other lunch choices include the interesting Chip Tasting Paddle - four types of chips with sauces - Salt and Pepper Squid, Crumbed Chicken Wings, Crispy Bocconcini, Chilli and Garlic Prawns, a selection of burgers, specialty salads and sandwiches, wraps, pizzas and freshly made rolls.

Each night of the week has its own special. Traditional roast features on Monday, followed by Burger Tuesdays and Wednesday Fish and Chips. Thursday is Schnitzel night. Wings are the Friday special and Saturday brings two specials; Pizza and Meatballs. Select from the wine list or choose from one of three cocktails available every night. There's a special cocktail of the week too.

Opening early at 8.00am, promise 'coffee you won't forget...' using Fix (five origin fairtrade organic) Coffee with every kind of milk imaginable - cow's milk, coconut milk, soy milk, almond milk or Zymill. Barista Miguel prefers Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans for black coffee drinkers. Citrus water on the bench is a nice touch for hydrating while you wait for your coffee.

The Breakfast Menu showcases eggs in many forms - Benedict, Green, Salmon Benedict, on a burger, or as you like them. Croissants, sourdough toast and bircher muesli are other breakfast choices.

One end of 's triangular layout is a quiet nook for a small group.

is located in the new section of Murray Bridge Green, with a chemist, Coles, Target and a furniture store for company. There is ample car parking. The car park alone is worth a visit to see its cleverly designed street view.

What could have been just another blank wall has been creatively landscaped by Cheesman Architects to resemble three houses. Each is complete with a verandah, stairs, front garden, lawn and a garden path.
