Every once in a while, every day stress gets to be too much. You need a break, but where to? Why not plan an easy weekend escape to refresh and relax. Whether you like heading North, or South, I have two perfect weekend spots for you.

Nelson Bay
Nelson Bay is a favourite family holiday spot. Although, it is also the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend for couples. Why not hop on a dolphin cruise for the morning? With some cruises offering swimming with the dolphins.



Or perhaps you could take a walk up one of the many headlands and take in the breathtaking views. Or maybe you would prefer to slap on the sunscreen and relax on the beach.

Nelson Bay is only 2.5 - 2.75 hour drive up North. With most of the drive being on the freeway, however you do get to take in some of mother natures views towards the end of the drive.



Hyams Beach
Hyams Beach is famous for its crystal white sand. It's worth the trip down south to see for yourself. In the beautiful community of Jervis Bay, you will find numerous activities to keep you busy if you're the adventurous type. Or take in the sights and sounds of the waves crashing on that perfect sand, if you would rather relax on your beach towel.

Jervis Bay is just short of a 3 hour trip down South by car.
Not too far at all, with scenic routes to enjoy for the drive.
