Beware this one is in danger of becoming a family favourite. Not only is it tasty, it is super simple to make - I just had to share it with you.
What you will need Two cups of roma or vine ripened tomatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil Salt and pepper to taste teaspoon Italian dried herbs (such as oregano, thyme, tarragon mixed) 20 basil leaves 2 cloves Garlic
What you do Cut the tomatoes into halves and lay them on an oven tray with the garlic. Add olive oil and the Italian herbs and salt. Bake them in the oven for about 90 minutes at about 160 degrees celsius.
That was the hard part!
When the tomatoes are tender, pull the tray out of the oven. Add the rest of the ingredients with the tomatoes and garlic and blend using a food processor.
Cook your pasta and add your home made sauce, and voilà, enjoy.
