A nourishing way to start your day
If you have ever been to a buffet breakfast, you may have been offered a beautiful range of cold options, such as tropical fruits, cereals and bircher muesli. When I have stayed at a hotel and enjoyed the bircher muesli, I have always wondered how I could make it for myself at home. Luckily, it wasn't as hard as I thought! It is a healthy blend of proteins, carbs, nuts, spices and fruits, which nourish your body from the inside.
This easy and delicious recipe is tasty on its own, but for me, it's all about the toppings. You can't enjoy it without the Greek yoghurt, sliced apple, crushed nuts and drizzle of honey - it's the perfect way to start your day!
