This recipe is super simple and will make about 2 dozen crumbly biscuits.
125 grams butter 1/2 cup caster sugar
1 cup plain flour extra
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
Combine softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl with a wooden spoon. Mix until creamy. Add flour bit by bit until well combined and no lumps remaining. Use your hands if necessary.
Sprinkle some flour onto a clean bench or chopping board and flour-up your rolling pin to prevent the dough sticking! Roll out dough to about 1/2 a cm thick and cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter or any other object that works such as a thin glass or measuring cup.
Spread oven tray with baking paper and lay out biscuits leaving about 1cm between each to allow for spreading. A spatula is handy to lift the biscuits onto the tray without ripping or stretching them.
This sounds so incredibly easy and
Delicious! Perhaps try sprinklimg a tad of
Sugar on it before placing it in the oven.
