A tasty combo you can't resist
If you are reading this, then you love the combination of banana and chocolate together. I have previously written a recipe article about a Healthy Banana & Choc Chip Slice which uses Greek yoghurt and apple sauce to keep it moist in the centre - however, this recipe is just as moist, even more chocolatey and it is even easier to make!

I use cacao powder for this recipe to make it healthier, however, feel free to use cocoa powder if that's what you have in your pantry. It really is easy, delicious and full of flavour and it also makes your house smell warm and cosy! Why don't you give it a try this weekend?

Ingredients:

2 mashed bananas
1/4 cup raw sugar
3 Tablespoons margarine, melted and cooled
2 Tablespoons milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3/4 cup plain flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup of cooking choc chips
1/2 cup cocoa powder or cacao powder

Step 4: Pour the mashed banana mixture into the dry ingredient bowl and stir to combine. Pour into the prepared slice tin. Sprinkle the remaining choc chips on top.

Step 5: Bake for 20 minutes until cooked all the way through. Allow to cool in the tray and then slice and serve! Store the remaining slices in the fridge.

If you love the combo of banana and chocolate, then you can't go past this easy recipe. The batch won't last long - guaranteed!
