I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
There's less than two weeks left until the Eastwood Moon Festival, which is an annual celebration for the Eastwood community. The event will take place at a range of locations around the district on Saturday September 26.
One of the key spots to visit on this day is Eastwood Hotel (or more specifically its car park), where there will be food stalls, arts and crafts, and entertainment, from 12.00pm all the way to 11.00pm. The focus of the activities will be on kids until 4.00pm, with a petting zoo, a jumping castle and face-painting also ready to go, and then there will be dance performances from 7.00pm.
At 5.30pm, the children's lantern procession will leave the hotel and head to Eastwood Mall, then on to Eastwood Library. Lanterns can be brought from home or picked up (for free) at the hotel, courtesy of Eastwood Rotary.
At the library you will find a new mural by Heesco, which will be unveiled at the conclusion of the parade. Heesco will spend the preceding part of the day creating the piece, between 10.00am to 5.00pm. The work will celebrate Eastwood's rich heritage, just like the mural he did at last year's event.
Elsewhere, at Eastwood Oval, there will be a Korean Festival, with Korean entertainment and activities. It will take place between 10.00am and 4.00pm.

Sometimes. It would be really good not to have children exclusively catered to. I would have gone to Eastwood Moon. But because children are being exclusively catered to until 4pm, you've totally lost me. Adults don't always necessarily want to have to associate with children. Sometimes adults would just like to be children free!!!
