Enjoy a winter wonderland these school holidays
Opening in time for wintery school holiday fun, Ringwood's Town Square will become a winter wonderland for families over the July school holidays with its own custom built all-weather ice rink.

Entry is free for those who spend $20 or more at Ringwood's Town Square. Tthe rink will be opening from Saturday 1 July. Kids of all ages can enjoy the starry lights and wintery wonder. It'll also be a trip down memory lane for many adults as Eastland's ice-skating rink Ringwood was the home of Australia's first custom-built ice-skating rink, Iceland, which closed its doors in 2005.

The 200 square metre rink will glow with twinkling lights and be surrounded by snow-topped trees. It'll also feature music curated especially for skating, skate loan and a viewing/seating area.

The all-weather rink will be open, rain hail or shine and is certan to combat the winter blues during the school holiday period as it remains open until Thursday 31 August.

On selected Sunday mornings the rink will be open to local children and adults with disabilities to encourage participation on the ice in a safe and secure environment.
