Eggcellent Free Family Fun
If you are looking for a bundle of fun this Easter, without having to pay a thing, then Easterfest at Sanctuary Cove may be the perfect event. Plus, it's not just one day, it is a jam-packed week long festival of family fun, which kicks off on Easter Sunday (5th April) and runs to Sunday 12 April.

Sunday is the main eggstravaganza Easter event with the Easter Bunny as the special guest - there will be heaps of fun for all ages running from 10am to 4pm.

Not only can you see the Easter Bunny, but there will be an Easter Buggy Parade - the participants really go all out on their golf buggies and the parade through the village is really good fun and the results are very entertaining and pretty imaginative.

Someone is ready for Easter

There will be a fabulous magic show which will be held in the Village Theatre at 12pm on Sunday 5 April by Sanctuary Cove's master magician, Matt Hollywood. Even though the show is free, due to limited seating, anyone wanting to attend needs to email events@sanctuarycove.com including your Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address and Number of Attendees (max. 5) - you will then be sent a confirmation email.

Easter is a really great family holiday, and with the long weekend you can spend some good quality time with loved ones. Also, all the stress is taken away as this is a well organised, safe, highly entertaining and more importantly free event, in a stunning location. Plus there will be chocolate. There should always be chocolate.

The kids will have a ball with an Easter egg hunt and egg obstacle course - plus there will be jumping castles, train rides, games, crafts, pony rides, roving stilt walkers, balloon artistry and a very cute baby animal farm, which the children will just love.

From Monday April 6 through to Sunday April 12, there will loads more fun with a daily school holiday program including games, inflatables and craft activities running from 11am to 2pm each day.

Each event is open to all ages, everyone is welcome and it is all free of charge. I went to this a couple of years ago and was really impressed with the amount of stuff to do for the kids - it was really busy but well organised and spaced out so each child could get a turn and a chance to get involved. This year I have my own children to take - so I'm even more excited about seeing what they have on offer, plus it seems like there are a lot more activities this year.

Sanctuary Cove is an exclusive resort which has a number of bars, cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. It also has a playground and the stunning marina and boats to look at and envy - so plenty for the grown ups to enjoy also.
